Auli’i Cravalho and Lin-Manuel Miranda perform “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s animated film “Moana” during the 2017 Oscar Academy Awards. Lin-Manuel Miranda rapped a new intro to the song, which was then performed beautifully by Auli’i, who portrayed the title character Moana in the Disney feature along with Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) who portrayed Demi-god Maui.

Auli’i Cravalho is of Chinese, Irish, Native Hawaiian, Portuguese, and Puerto Rican descent; born November 2000 in Kohala, Hawai’i (Big Island) and hails from Mililani, O’ahu, Hawai’i. She is currently a student of Kamehameha Schools Kapālama.
